Get to know us and our passion for dogs

Hi there, I am Michelle and I run our fully licenced dog care and breeding business Pawesomek9 with my partner Andy from our spacious home set in woodland within the small Warwickshire village of Old Arley. Our house is an ideal setting for dog daycare and boarding as we have lots of indoor and outdoor space including our extended five bedroomed house, large secure grass gardens, paddock and a woodchipped play area with numerous enrichment opportunities. We have direct access to beautiful woodland from our garden for our daily walks with our dogs.
Pawesomek9 also offers a mobile Ultrasound Scanning and Microchipping service within the local area for dogs, cats and rabbits. As a dog breeder ourselves we totally understand the effort and finances involved from start to finish and it’s due to this that we appreciate the expectations of our pet parents and how they become loved members of our family. This has inspired us to run our own family business to provide real solutions to the most common problems pet owners face. Whether this is juggling a busy family life style and not having time to visit the vets, whether you know that your pet would benefit from the friendly, qualified and reliable home service we offer, you want to book your dog in to home from home boarding where their individual needs will be met within a loving family home, without the use of kennels, or you need a reliable and exciting dog care for your fur baby to spend the day walking, socialising, playing and learning whilst you are at work.
Unlike other dog daycare and boarding we accept puppies as soon as they are covered by their vaccinations. As we are Spaniel breeders we are very experienced with the additional care needed for young puppies and can support you along those first few, sometimes tricky, months. On the other end of the spectrum we also accept elderly dogs who may have additional individual care needs in the form of medication, mobility issues and a rainbow bridge agreement.
Both Andy and I have many years of experience caring and breeding and welcome dogs into our house as part of our family which includes two teenage children who share our passion and together we provide a very balanced, loving, family approach to our care. Our qualifications include Canine first aid, Animal Microchipping and Ultrasound Scanning, Canine Communication and Canine Behaviour.
We have both Working Cocker Spaniels and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that we have the joy of breeding for the past five years. Our girls have produced some stunning litters, including puppies which we have kept as pets.
My background is originally in Primary education for seventeen years and Andy’s is in videography and visual graphics with his business called Colourbar Productions. We both Fostered youngsters for seven years and have always had a love for dogs as I have owned one since a child. We have often used our family dogs as therapy dogs both at school and within fostering which proved to highlight the relationship and communication between humans and dogs as a magical experience with many therapeutic benefits.
